Niklas Schubert

His research focuses on Mathematical Physics and Statistical Mechanics, specializing in strongly interacting stochastic processes, transformed measures in statistical mechanics models, and disordered systems. Key investigations include extremal decomposition of Gibbs states for clock models on trees, non-Gibbsianness phenomena in Bernoulli fields on Cayley trees, and properties of disordered systems under topological perturbations.

His recent publications examine A-localized states and extremal decompositions in glassy systems (2024) and Gibbs properties of Bernoulli fields under site removal (2023), reflecting trends toward rigorous analysis of phase transitions in complex tree-structured systems with applications to spin glass theory.

Schubert serves as a referee for the Journal of the European Mathematical Society and Nanosystems: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

He actively contributes to teaching as a teaching assistant for Mathematics courses for Physics students (Winter 2024/25: Mathematics 3; Summer 2024: Mathematics 2) and previously for MathePlus for ET/IT (Winter 2023/24).
