معرفی
Niklas Markus Gericke is a Professor at the University of Inland Norway, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy and the Department of Mathematics, Science and Physical Education. His research focuses on human physiology in extreme environments, aerospace medicine, and biomechanics, with a particular emphasis on adaptive mechanisms in space and terrestrial contexts.
He actively participates in interdisciplinary collaborations, including roles in events like the Human Physiology Workshop (HPW) organized by the German Aerospace Center (DLR). His work explores how human systems respond to stressors such as microgravity, extreme climates, and physical activity deficits, linking physiology to broader systems biology principles.
Affiliations include the German Research Centre of Elite Sport (momentum), the Centre for Health and Integrative Physiology in Space (CHIPS), and institutions like the DLR’s Institute of Movement and Neurosciences. His contributions aim to advance understanding of human adaptability and its implications for health and space exploration.
