Nikhil Yadav, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Division of Computer Science, Mathematics and Science at St. John’s University, part of the Collins College of Professional Studies. His research focuses on ambient and mobile computing systems for mental health using machine/deep learning, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), and Augmented Reality (AR). He co-founded a technology startup in speech biomarker analysis during his doctoral studies at the University of Notre Dame.
Education: PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida. Prior to academia, he worked in software engineering and consulting roles.
Research emphasizes scalable psychophysiological systems linking physiological signals to cognitive stimuli. His teaching interests include Programming, Distributed Operating Systems, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, and Mobile Computing. He regularly serves on international conference program committees and has published in peer-reviewed journals/conferences.
