Nihan TURAN is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Istanbul Beykent University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics. She has been affiliated with the university since at least 2022, initially as a Research Assistant and currently as a faculty member.
Research Interests: Her scholarly work spans several advanced areas of pure and applied mathematics. She has made significant contributions to (p,q)-calculus, q-difference equations, and their applications to fixed-point theory. Other areas of expertise include statistical convergence in various metric spaces, particularly cone metric spaces, and the study of theta functions and their modular properties.
Publications: Dr. TURAN's research output is prolific and internationally recognized. Her articles have appeared in high-impact journals indexed in SCI-Expanded, Scopus, ESCI, and MathSciNet. A recurring theme in her work is the exploration of difference equations and their analytical solutions, often with applications to operator theory and discrete dynamical systems.
