Nigel Lovell

Nigel Lovell is a Scientia Professor and Head of the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering at UNSW Sydney. As inaugural Director of the Tyree Foundation Institute of Health Engineering, he leads translational research in medical technologies, focusing on bionics, biomonitoring, and physiological modeling. His work spans implantable bionic eye development, telehealth systems for chronic disease management, and neural interface innovations.
