Niels van Miltenburg

Niels van Miltenburg is Assistant Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at Utrecht University and coordinator of the Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence program.

His research examines fundamental questions about free will, agency, and the nature of knowledge obtained through action.

Recent publications explore the relationship between practical knowledge and objectivity, self-consciousness in action, and theoretical foundations of interdisciplinary education.

He teaches courses on philosophy of mind, metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of artificial intelligence.
