Dr. Nicole Votruba serves as Senior Research Fellow in Implementation Science and Principal Investigator at the University of Oxford's Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health (NDWRH), part of the Medical Sciences Division. She leads the Global Mental Health & Equity Group and directs the Medical Research Council UK-funded SMARThealth Perinatal Mental Health (PRAMH) project, alongside coordinating the Indigo Local global anti-stigma initiative.
Her research focuses on improving mental healthcare systems through implementation science frameworks, with particular emphasis on women's mental health across the perinatal period, reducing global health inequities, and strengthening science-policy relationships in low-resource settings. Her work bridges clinical practice, policy development, and community-based interventions to address mental health disparities.
