Nicole Simone

Nicole Simone, MD is the Margaret Q. Landenberger Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. As a board-certified radiation oncologist, she specializes in breast cancer treatment and conducts clinical trials to minimize radiation side effects while optimizing therapeutic efficacy.

Her research focuses on:

• Caloric restriction combined with radiation therapy for hormonally responsive cancers
• Long-term radiation toxicity in breast cancer patients
• Novel cardioprotective and pulmoprotective techniques during radiotherapy
