Nicolas Sidère

Nicolas Sidère is a researcher affiliated with the L3i laboratory at the University of La Rochelle. His work focuses on pattern recognition, document analysis, and structural methods, with applications in fraud detection and automated decision-making. He defended his thesis in 2015 on graph projection techniques and their integration with statistical tools.

He has actively participated in numerous academic events, including the 15th IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis Systems (DAS 2022), CICLing 2019, and the AI4Industry General Assembly. His contributions span conferences, workshops, and seminars on topics such as digital humanities, software preservation, and advanced networks.

His team, NewsEye, won the CLEF-HIPE-2020 competition, highlighting expertise in historical text processing. Sidère has also engaged in public outreach, including science festivals and school interventions, promoting STEM education and innovation.
