Nicolas Rivero Weidemüller is a Senior Research Assistant in the Military and Veterans' Mental Health Research Stream and an Adjunct Fellow at the School of Public Health, The University of Queensland. He is affiliated with the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research and works at Dawson House, The Park Centre for Mental Health Treatment, Research and Education in Wacol, QLD.

His research focuses on Military and Veterans' Mental Health, encompassing areas such as psychological trauma, public health, clinical research, psychiatric interventions, and mental health resilience in military populations. He is part of the Military and Veterans’ Mental Health Research Stream team, contributing to translational research and policy development for mental health services.
