معرفی
Nicolas Ortonne is a Professor and Team Leader at the Mondor Biomedical Research Institute (IMRB), Université de Paris. He leads the 'Neurofibromatosis and Lymphoma oncogenesis - NFL' team, focusing on molecular mechanisms underlying lymphoma and neurofibromatosis. His work integrates genetic, cellular, and clinical approaches to identify therapeutic targets.
Research Interests: Dr. Ortonne's studies center on T-cell lymphomas (e.g., angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, cutaneous T lymphomas) and Schwann cell-derived tumors in Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). His team uses advanced techniques like single-cell sequencing and mouse models to understand tumor initiation and progression. Current projects aim to develop novel therapies for these cancers, including a clinical trial (ORACLE).
Collaborations: Interacts with national/international networks (LYSA, NTAP consortium) and partners with pharmaceutical companies via the Carnot CALYM Institute. Key innovations include NF1 mouse models recapitulating human Schwann cell tumors.
Grants & Awards: Funded by Horizon Europe, French National Cancer Institute (INCa), and international grants (e.g., Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Recent grants include the SPRINT project (RHU call) and a Horizon Europe project coordinated by Prof. Yves Lévy.
Labs & Facilities: Access to single-cell sequencing, mouse models, and biological resource platforms. Collaborates with genomic, imaging, and flow cytometry labs at IMRB.
