Dr. Nicolas Li is Senior Lecturer in Strategy at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School's Department of Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability. He holds a BA in Mathematics (University of British Columbia), MSc in Management (University of Aberdeen), and PhD in Management (University of Glasgow). Previously affiliated with Universities of Dundee and Glasgow, he serves as external examiner for Leeds Beckett University, Lancaster University, and De Montfort University Dubai.
His research examines:
- Internationalization strategies of entrepreneurial firms
- Corporate social responsibility in global contexts
- Transnational entrepreneurship dynamics
- Sustainable business innovation
- Emerging market business strategies
Publications show strong focus on international business strategy, particularly SME internationalization, corporate sustainability, and emerging economies. Recent work explores technology innovation, social entrepreneurship, and pandemic-related business behaviors.
