Nicolas Camilotto is a Research Fellow in Economic Sciences at Université Côte d'Azur, affiliated with the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG) and the Pole History of Ideas, Cognition and Complexity (PHICC) team H2P2S. His work focuses on the history of economic thought and interdisciplinary intersections between economics and other disciplines.

His current research involves quantitative network analysis of French economists through scientific journals from the 1930s to 1960s, with a special emphasis on the Vichy regime. He also explores interdisciplinary methodologies linking economics with history, sociology, and political science.
Camilotto's affiliations include the GREDEG laboratory and the PHICC Pole's H2P2S team (Recent History of Thought and Philosophy of the Social Sciences). His academic contributions center on documenting the evolution of economic expertise in 20th-century France.
