معرفی
Nicolai Lang is a Research Fellow at the University of Stuttgart's Institute of Theoretical Physics III. He holds a Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) in Physics from the University of Stuttgart (2013-2019), preceded by a BSc (2008-2011) and MSc (2011-2013) in Physics from the same institution. His research focuses on quantum many-body systems, topological phases of matter, and quantum error correction, with particular emphasis on Rydberg atoms and entanglement transitions.
Lang has received several accolades, including the Arthur-Fischer Award (2014) for his master’s thesis and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Award (2020) for his PhD work. In 2024, he was honored with the University of Stuttgart Teaching Award for his lectures on relativity. His research explores topics such as symmetry-protected topological phases, monitored quantum circuits, and fractional Chern insulators.
