معرفی
Nicola Maggiore is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Genoa. His research focuses on theoretical physics of fundamental interactions, mathematical methods, and applications, with particular emphasis on fracton physics, gauge theories, and topological phases. He teaches courses in General Physics 2, Theoretical Physics, and General Relativity at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
His research interests include exploring covariant higher-rank gauge theories, Chern-Simons models for fractons, and boundary conditions in gauge systems. Recent work examines quasi-topological fractons and their connections to 3D dipolar systems, as well as Hall-like behaviors in higher-rank Chern-Simons theories.
No scientific awards are explicitly listed. Teaching responsibilities include:
- General Physics 2 (Mathematics program)
- Theoretical Physics (Physics Master's)
- General Relativity (Physics Master's)
Office: 7th floor, room 709, Department of Physics, Via Dodecaneso 33, Genova.
