معرفی
Dr Nick Fleming is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, leading the BSc Marine Biology programme within the School of Natural Sciences. His research focuses on marine ecology, conservation, and the impacts of environmental and human-induced stressors on marine ecosystems. He holds a BSc in Marine Biology from Swansea University, an MPhil in Marine Fisheries Ecology from the University of Hull, and a PhD in Marine Ecology from Queen's University Belfast. His work integrates experimental laboratory techniques, field studies, and computational modeling to study trophic interactions, nutrient cycling, and invasive species dynamics. Notable projects include investigations into jellyfish trophic roles, ocean current-driven invasions, and sustainable biomedical applications of jellyfish. Dr. Fleming also engages in public outreach through media appearances and collaborates with industry on projects like culturing jellyfish for bioresources. He has supervised multiple research initiatives and peer-reviewed articles across journals such as *Marine Biology* and *Global Ecology and Biogeography*.
