Nick Caddick is a Professor of Political Sociology and Deputy Director of the Veterans and Families Institute (VFI) at Anglia Ruskin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care. His work bridges critical military studies, narrative theory, and veteran transition.

Recent Publications span veteran narratives, PTSD studies, and military-civilian transition, with grants totaling over £1 million from AHRC and Forces in Mind Trust. His 2023-2025 Ruskin Module explores storytelling’s transformative power.
