Nicholas Vander Els

Nicholas Vander Els, MD, is a Clinical Professor and Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function Laboratories at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. He specializes in Pulmonary Medicine with a focus on pulmonary complications of cancer and its treatments. His expertise includes procedures such as thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound. Dr. Vander Els completed his MD at New York University School of Medicine, followed by residencies at Beth Israel Medical Center and fellowships at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
