Nicholas Price is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University, within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. He is actively engaged in research and teaching, serving as a Primary Chief Investigator on multiple national and international projects focused on sensory processing, neural adaptation, and perception. His current work explores how the brain maintains robust behavior in noisy environments and the role of oscillations in neural communication.
His research interests center on neural mechanisms of perception, particularly in visual and motion systems.
