Nicholas Karbach, OD, FAAO is an Assistant Professor and Acting Director of On-Campus Residency Programs at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry within Drexel University's College of Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and a BS in Molecular Biology from Grove City College.
His clinical expertise focuses on Primary Care Ocular Disease and care for Special Needs Populations. Research interests include visual processing disorders and ocular effects of drug abuse, reflected in publications like Review of Optometry. He maintains active professional engagement through his FAAO designation.
As Acting Director of Residency Programs, Dr. Karbach oversees clinical training initiatives. His work bridges academic optometry with hands-on patient care in underserved populations.
