Niamh Hart is a Research Fellow at Behavioural Research UK (BR-UK) within the Usher Institute, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh. Her work focuses on qualitative methodology in behavioural research and health-related interventions.

- MSc in Physical Activity for Health from University of Edinburgh
- PhD in "PAUSE… Breathe & Stretch: Creating an Evidence-Based Yoga Resource for Mainstream Schools" at University of Edinburgh
Her research explores health behaviours, mental health, and health & wellbeing, particularly through physical activity and yoga. Current projects include:
- Building capability in behavioural research
- Developing consensus on key terms in behavioural research (Behavioural Concepts Group)
- Public engagement and stakeholder input
- Disseminating findings from school-based yoga resource trials
Niamh’s publications emphasize interdisciplinary applications of yoga in education and health, with keywords spanning Executive Function, Mental Health, and Health Inequalities. She combines academic expertise with practical experience as a yoga instructor since 2017.
