معرفی
Dr. Ngoc Nguyen is an Associate Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland. His research focuses on sustainable energy, critical metals extraction, and environmental remediation. He holds an Australia Award Scholarship and an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. His work includes eco-efficient mineral processing, CO2 capture, and gas hydrate-based energy storage.
Education: PhD in Chemical Engineering (UQ, 2018). Previously held positions at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Germany) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Research Interests: Low-carbon economy pillars—sustainable energy, mineral resources, and environmental solutions. Recent projects include gas hydrate storage, rice husk valorization, and ion-specific mineral flotation mechanisms.
Grants & Awards: ARC DECRA (2024–2027), Australian Coal Association Research Program grants. Recognized for contributions to mineral processing and interfacial science.
Advising: Associate advisor for PhD projects on mineral flotation, X-ray CT applications, and froth stability. Collaborates closely with Prof. Anh Nguyen and Dr. Tuan Nguyen.
Labs/Teams: Part of the Mineral Processing and Interfacial Processes group, focusing on colloid science and sustainable technologies.
