Prof. Dr. Nevzat Esim is a Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Bingol University, Turkey. He holds a PhD in Botany/Plant Physiology from Atatürk University (2011) and has served as a faculty member since 2009. His research focuses on plant stress physiology, molecular biology, and beekeeping, with a particular interest in nitric oxide's role in plant stress tolerance and the utilization of natural resources like bee products.

- Professional Experience: Professor since 2021, Postdoctoral Fellow at Texas Tech University (2021-2022), Associate Professor (2017-2021), Assistant Professor (2012-2017)
Research Interests: Plant secondary metabolites, stress physiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and bee-plant interactions. His work includes studies on nitric oxide's effects on maize under heavy metal stress and the development of sustainable beekeeping practices in Bingöl.
Publications: Over 50 peer-reviewed articles, including studies on mercury toxicity in maize, miRNA regulation in Arabidopsis, and fungal-derived antioxidants. His research emphasizes environmental stress responses and biotechnological applications.
