Neus Allande Calvet is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Chemical Physics, Lund University, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering (LTH). She is part of the LU Profile Area: Light and Materials, NanoLund: Centre for Nanoscience, and the LTH Profile Area: Nanoscience and Semiconductor Technology. Her research focuses on developing advanced time-resolved spectroscopic techniques for studying transient signals in dim environments, with emphasis on enhancing temporal resolution and signal-to-noise ratios.
Research interests include molecular photophysics, photochemistry, and laser spectroscopy, particularly applying vibrational-sum frequency generation and cavity ring-down methods to organic-inorganic hybrid materials and semiconductor systems. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to clean energy and innovation.
Key Projects (2023–2025):
- Time-resolved amplified fluorescence
- Surface-enhanced photoluminescence
- Charge transfer dynamics in d5 complexes
Awards: Junior Scientist Ideas Award (2024), recognized for her contributions to nanoscience and spectroscopic innovation.
She collaborates internationally, with recent work highlighted in Angewandte Chemie and Optics and Laser Technology, advancing methodologies in transient emission and absorption measurements.
