Dr. Neset Hikmet is Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the Department of Integrated Information Technology at University of South Carolina's College of Engineering and Computing. His research focuses on healthcare information systems, big data analytics, and health policy impacts. He holds adjunct appointments in Internal Medicine and Public Health.
His work examines technology adoption in healthcare, health information exchange impacts, and predictive modeling for patient outcomes. Recent publications analyze COVID-19 impacts on maternal health and technology acceptance during pandemics.
