Dr. Said's research centers on the intersection of costume design, historical analysis, and psychological symbolism, with particular emphasis on character development through accessories and color theory. Her artistic practice manifests in groundbreaking installations like KHOTOUM: The 7 seals (2022) and Khotoum (2014), exhibited globally in Cairo, Helsinki, and London, alongside pandemic-era works such as Shield by Nature—a 30-day self-portrait series exploring nature's protective symbolism. Current investigations into Egyptian cinema's costume history demonstrate her commitment to preserving cultural narratives through material artifacts.
As an active OISTAT (Egypt) member and contributor to the international costume designers' sub-committee, she bridges academic scholarship with professional practice in visual storytelling.
