Nel de Jong is a Lecturer at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, affiliated with the Network Institute. She coordinates the Academic Language Programme for Dutch and teaches in teacher training programs for Dutch as a second language.
