Neil Semer

Neil Semer serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Voice/Musical Theater at the Conservatory of Music within Brooklyn College's School of Visual, Media and Performing Arts, City University of New York. He maintains a primary voice studio in New York City and conducts international teaching engagements across Toronto, London, Paris, Copenhagen, and multiple locations in Germany.

His academic foundation includes training at the Manhattan School of Music.

Semer's pedagogical approach integrates Bel Canto principles with scientific vocal physiology and emotional musical interpretation, emphasizing holistic coordination of heart, mind, and body. Professional highlights include teaching appointments with the Canadian Opera Company, Vancouver Opera, Hawaiian Opera, Norwegian Opera, and Broadway productions of Miss Saigon and Bombay Dreams.
