Neda Trifonova is an Advanced Research Fellow at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Aberdeen. Her research focuses on ecosystem modelling, machine learning applications, and environmental impact assessments related to offshore renewable energy and climate change.

Her work integrates Bayesian networks and natural capital approaches to address marine spatial planning, cumulative impact assessments, and socio-economic benefits of renewable energy developments. Recent publications analyze spatiotemporal ecosystem dynamics and offshore wind-fisheries conflicts.
