Neal Grossman is an Associate Professor Emeritus with a PhD in the history and philosophy of science from Indiana University. His research focuses on Spinoza, mysticism, and the epistemology of parapsychological research. He has published in journals such as Journal of Philosophy, Metaphilosophy, Philosophy of Science, and Synthese. His recent work includes analyses of near-death experiences, debunking methodologies, and critiques of materialist paradigms.
He authored the book Healing the Mind: The Philosophy of Spinoza Adapted for a New Age (2003). Grossman has received the Silver Circle Teaching Award four times, reflecting his excellence in pedagogy.
