Naíde Müller

Naíde Müller is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, affiliated with the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC). She holds a PhD in Communication Sciences (2023) and master’s and undergraduate degrees in Communication fields. Her research focuses on strategic communication, public relations, and activism, particularly in human rights and social movements. Müller has collaborated internationally, including a 2021 visiting scholar role at Kent State University, and previously worked as a communication consultant and political advisor in the Portuguese Parliament (2008–2019).

Professional Engagement: She has presented at conferences on topics like feminist activism in digital spaces and public relations in human rights contexts. Müller advises on public legitimacy strategies for political parties and NGOs, leveraging her expertise in media relations and advocacy.

Labs/Teams: Based at the CECC, her work contributes to interdisciplinary research on communication and culture, fostering collaborations on global issues like democracy and civic participation.
