Dr Nazia Mintz Habib, FRSA is an Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge with appointments in the Department of Land Economy and the Department of Engineering. She serves as Founder and Director of the Centre for Resilience and Sustainable Development (CRSD) and as Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Industrial Sustainability at the Institute of Manufacturing (IfM). Her affiliations also include the World Economic Forum, Royal Society of Arts, and Cambridge research centers like CISL, CSAP, and the Cambridge Forum for Sustainability and the Environment.
Her research integrates systems thinking and political economics to advance resilience and sustainable development in global governance, responsible innovation, and sustainable investment. She played a foundational role in establishing the MPhil in Public Policy program at Cambridge, bridging interdisciplinary approaches to policy design and implementation.
Dr Habib has advised over 20 governments on sustainable development and climate change policy. Her work spans food security, supply chains, land resources, and infectious disease mitigation, reflecting her transdisciplinary focus on systemic solutions to global challenges.
