Naveen K. Malhotra is the Tom and Mary James Professor of Finance at Eckerd College, where he also directs the Students in a Free Enterprise (SIFE) program as the Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of Tampa.
His research focuses on business education dynamics, particularly barriers faced by adult business students. His recent work explores how age influences perceptions of academic and career obstacles in business education. He actively contributes to entrepreneurship and free enterprise initiatives through Eckerd's SIFE program, which has been nationally recognized.
Dr. Malhotra is affiliated with Eckerd’s International Business and Finance departments, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches that blend liberal arts with professional business training. His academic leadership includes advising students on global business strategies and career development.
