Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State, along with B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics, and a B.A. in Ancient Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His research focuses on high-temperature electrochemical separations and corrosion prevention in molten salt reactor designs, collaborating with Dr. Hojong Kim’s group.
