Nathan Schlanger is a Professor of Archaeology at the École nationale des chartes in France. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford. His career includes roles at the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA), coordinating the European project AREA (2000), and leading international research initiatives at the Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives (INRAP) (2005). Following his HDR (2012), he joined the research team at the École du Louvre.
