Nathan Moyer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Whitworth University since 2008. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from Washington State University and a B.S. from Whitworth University. His research focuses on algebraic number theory, cryptography, and combinatorial identities, with an emphasis on integrating philosophical and faith-based perspectives into mathematics education.
His academic journey includes significant recognition such as the Inquiry Based Learning Small Grant (2012), Outstanding Integration of Vocation Award (2011), and Dean's Junior Faculty Award (2011).
