Professor Nate Bowling is a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, joining in 2006. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of novel organic molecules, spectroscopy, and collaborative projects advancing organic chemistry.
- Education: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University of Wisconsin-Madison, Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and B.S. in Chemistry from Valparaiso University.
His work involves studying halogen bonding, molecular structure, and solvent/temperature effects using NMR, UV/Vis, crystallography, and computational methods. Publications span major chemistry journals, emphasizing solution-state dynamics and molecular interactions.
