Dr. Natasza Styczyńska is an Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University's Institute of European Studies, specializing in Central and Eastern Europe, Balkan States, Euroscepticism, and Populism within EU integration contexts. She coordinates the Europe and the World program at Jagiellonian University, leads the CEEPUS network 'Europe from the Visegrad and Balkan Perspective', and serves as Vice-Chair of the Coimbra Group's Social Sciences & Humanities Working Group.

Her research focuses on populist political movements and Eurosceptic discourses in post-communist Europe, particularly analyzing how these phenomena intersect with EU enlargement policies and democratic transformations. She has published extensively on Polish political parties' EU discourses, illiberal turns, and transformation fatigue in Central Eastern Europe.
Scientific achievements have earned her multiple Rector's Awards (2016-2022), while her organizational contributions were recognized with three consecutive Rector's Awards (2016-2018). She participates in EU-funded projects like REGROUP (2022-), POPREBEL (2019-2022), and EU3D (2019-2023), alongside grants from NCN and UK ESRC.
