Natasha Savage

Natasha Savage serves as Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia, holding dual appointments in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology within the Department of Pathology. She concurrently serves as Vice Chair of Pathology and Medical Director of Hematology.

Her educational trajectory includes a top honors undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia (2003), MD from the Medical College of Georgia (2007), anatomic/clinical pathology residency at MCG (2011), and hematopathology fellowship at Stanford (2011-2012).

Dr. Savage's research centers on translational hematopathology with emphasis on molecular diagnostics for myeloid/lymphoid neoplasms, coagulation disorders, and breast pathology. Her work bridges laboratory innovation with clinical applications through machine learning and nanoparticle technologies.

Her 2022 publications demonstrate interdisciplinary convergence across infectious disease pathology, renal oncology, and molecular diagnostics, featuring novel assay development for tumor differentiation and gene therapy approaches for cancer treatment.
