Natasha Rozhkovskaya is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Kansas State University (KSU). Her research focuses on representation theory of Lie algebras, quantum groups, combinatorics, and mathematical physics. She is actively involved in mathematics education, particularly through initiatives like the Berkeley Elementary School Math Circle (2009) and the I-70 Math project, which links mathematics with art and museums in Manhattan, Kansas.
She authored Mathematical Seminars for Elementary School Students (2011, translated into English by AMS in 2014), a book offering engaging math activities for children aged 5–10. Her work emphasizes accessible, hands-on educational resources, including problem sets, games, and craft projects. She also contributed articles to Kvantik, a Russian journal for young mathematicians, focusing on topics like symmetry, mirrors, and geometric art.
Rozhkovskaya collaborates with international educational initiatives, such as the 2022 Math Circles Around the World conference. Her efforts bridge advanced mathematical research with public outreach, including organizing museum-based math workshops and developing curricula for K-12 students.
