Dr. Natalya Brown is an Associate Professor with cross-appointments in the Faculty of Arts and Science (Department of Philosophy, Political Science, Economics) and School of Business at Nipissing University. She also serves as Program Coordinator for Economics and is a faculty member in Graduate Studies in Education. Her research focuses on immigrant integration, financial literacy, sustainable tourism, philanthropy, and political economy.
Educational background includes a BSc from University of West Indies, MA from University of Houston, and MSc/PhD from University of Texas. She teaches courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic development, international economics, and money and banking.
