Natalie Popov serves as a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law within the Department of Criminology. She contributes to the Independent Research Group 'Personality, Identity, and Crime' under Principal Investigator Isabel Thielmann.
Her research focuses on identifying core dispositional tendencies underlying individual differences in prosocial behavior across social contexts. This work examines how conceptually related personality traits systematically influence helping behaviors and cooperative tendencies in various situations. Supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG), her project aims to establish theoretical foundations for understanding human prosociality.
