Natalie Paquette is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Washington, part of the College of Arts & Sciences. Her research focuses on string theory, quantum field theory, and their intersections with modern mathematics, particularly holographic correspondences in spacetime geometries and Koszul duality. She has held positions at the Institute for Advanced Study and Caltech, and currently leads the Simons Collaboration on Celestial Holography.
Education:
- Ph.D., Stanford University, 2017
- B.S., Cornell University, 2012
Research Interests: Explores mathematical structures in theoretical physics, including topological string theory, celestial holography, and applications to condensed matter systems. Recent work includes a "chiral algebraic bootstrap" for scattering amplitudes and studies of boundary conditions in supersymmetric field theories.
Awards & Affiliations:
- DOE Early Career Research Fellowship
- Executive Committee Member, Simons Collaboration on Celestial Holography
- Visiting Fellow at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics
