Natalie Goulette

Dr. Natalie Goulette is a Professor in the Department of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Legal Studies at the University of West Florida's College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. She joined UWF in 2013 after earning her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University.

Research Focus: Her work examines critical issues in criminal justice systems, including:

• Case processing and sentencing disparities (gender/race-based)
• Collateral consequences of criminal convictions
• Offender reentry and rehabilitation practices
• Evidence-based community corrections
• Juvenile delinquency interventions

Publications: Dr. Goulette's research appears in leading journals including Journal of Criminal Justice and Criminology and Public Policy. Her recent articles analyze criminal justice practitioners' perspectives on conviction consequences and youth perceptions of policing in Caribbean contexts, reflecting her expertise in systemic inequities and rehabilitation frameworks.
