Natalia Vilariño Del Rio

Natalia Vilariño Del Rio is a Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a PhD from USC (1999), completing her thesis titled Regulatory effect of the bicarbonate ion in rat mast cells under Dr. Luis Miguel Botana Lopez. Her research focuses on marine toxins, particularly their transduction mechanisms, therapeutic applications, and detection techniques through the FARMATOX research group.
