Natalia Shvets

Natalia Shvets is a Professor at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and serves as the Director of the Institute of Banking Technologies and Business at the University of Banking (UBS) in Kyiv. Her academic career spans over two decades, focusing on banking, financial markets, and financial security.

• Education: Graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Economics at Chernivtsi National University, specializing in Finance and Credit.
• Advanced Degrees: Earned a PhD in Accounting, Analysis, and Audit with a thesis on Commercial Bank Resources for Entrepreneurship, and a higher doctorate in Money, Finance, and Credit with a thesis on Banking Supervision and the Banking System.

Her research interests center on banking technologies, financial market dynamics, and the development of Ukraine’s banking system. She has designed and delivered courses in banking supervision, credit management, and bank marketing.

As Director at the Institute of Banking Technologies and Business (UBS), she oversees academic and institutional initiatives bridging banking theory with practical innovation.
