معرفی
Nat Oppenheimer serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, based in Gund Hall 329. He teaches core curriculum courses including SCI-6503 Structures: Failure, Adaptation, and Reinvention (a project-based seminar) and co-leads the Third Semester Architecture Core studio STU-1201: INTEGRATE during the Fall 2025 semester.
His research and pedagogical focus centers on structural systems in architectural practice, specifically investigating how buildings fail, adapt to new conditions, and undergo creative reinvention. This work integrates engineering principles with design innovation, emphasizing sustainable approaches to structural resilience and the transformation of existing building systems.
As an active faculty member without indication of part-time status, he contributes to architectural education through project-based learning that bridges theoretical concepts with practical studio application.
