Dr Nasser Hussain is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Leeds Beckett University. His work bridges contemporary poetry, conceptual writing, and creative experimentation.
- Research interests: contemporary experimental writing, embodiment and performance, ethics of appropriation, and recuperating 'lost' language fragments.
- Current projects: SKY WRI TEI NGS (poetry from IATA codes), a trilogy on mass transit, and a critical article on bpNichol's television writings.
- Editorial roles: Member of Coach House Books' Editorial Board and Ledbury Emerging Critic.
- Teaching: Poetry, Contemporary Literary Studies, Writer's Workshop, and Rewritings (MA).
- Recognition: His 2018 poetry book listed among Canada's top 12 by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
