Napoleon Katsos is a Professor of Experimental Pragmatics at the University of Cambridge's Section of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, and a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. His research focuses on semantics, pragmatics, and language acquisition in monolingual and bilingual children and adults, with particular interest in neurotypical and neurodivergent populations' linguistic and cognitive differences. He actively contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives like the WeSpeakMulti project and the Cambridge Bilingualism Network, providing resources for families and educators. He also promotes linguistics education through Trinity College's annual Essay Prize competition for secondary school students.
