Naomi Roberts

Naomi Roberts is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at London Metropolitan University's School of Social Sciences and Professions. She has worked in diverse educational settings including nurseries, independent schools, and further education colleges, where she served as Head of School for Early Years prior to transitioning to higher education in 2017.

Her educational background includes a PGCE and an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons). Naomi teaches modules focused on personal, social and emotional development, safeguarding, and children's rights, while also supporting students with dissertation research.

Her professional experience extends to community work with displaced families, young mothers, children of detained parents, and educational consultancy for Looked After Children. She actively liaises with placement settings to support student practical training.
